Glimpzed is a mobile application for consenting adults 18+. This policy explains the categories of information we may collect, how we may use them, how long we retain data, and your rights. By using Glimpzed you consent to the practices described in this policy.

We do not use your data for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may delete your account at any time from within the App; account deletion removes profile information, uploaded content, and in-app history from our active systems.
We may retain a minimal post-deletion "safety-audit record" indefinitely for the limited purpose of investigating safety incidents and responding to lawful process. This record contains only non-reversible identifiers (such as a one-way cryptographic hash of your email, a one-way hash of each previously-uploaded photo, your opaque Glimpzed user ID, your sign-in method, and the time of deletion). It CANNOT be reversed to reconstruct your email, your photos, your full name, or any other personal data. Its sole purpose is to allow us to confirm, in response to a verified safety or law-enforcement inquiry, whether a previously-deleted account existed and whether specific material was associated with it. You may request additional deletion of this record by contacting privacy@glimpzed.app; we may decline where retention is required by applicable safety, law-enforcement, or legal-hold obligations.
We use the following categories of third-party service providers to operate the App. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and under appropriate data-processing terms:
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for that third party's own marketing or promotional purposes.
Where the App sends SMS messages, those messages are sent only for safety-related, event-driven purposes initiated by a Glimpzed account holder. Glimpzed does NOT send marketing, promotional, subscription, recurring, or bulk SMS of any kind.
Recipient opt-out. Recipients may opt out of receiving future Glimpzed SMS at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any Glimpzed message. Once opted out, no further SMS will be sent to that number by Glimpzed. To resubscribe, reply START. Recipients may reply HELP or INFO for an automated response, or email support@glimpzed.app.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply. Glimpzed does not charge for SMS delivery.
Mobile phone number non-sharing. Mobile phone numbers used in connection with the App are used only for Glimpzed authentication and Glimpzed-initiated safety-alert SMS. Phone numbers and the consent associated with them are NEVER sold, rented, licensed, or shared with any third party or affiliate for that third party's or affiliate's marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are transmitted to Twilio only to the extent required to deliver a specific authorized SMS message, and may be shared with law enforcement in response to a lawful process or a good-faith response to a credible imminent-harm report.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest for data stored on our cloud infrastructure. Every API call from the App to our backend is additionally gated by a cryptographic app-attestation token (containing no personal data) that confirms the request originated from a genuine, non-tampered install of the App. We recommend using a device passcode and keeping your OS updated to protect your device-side session.

Glimpzed is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately at privacy@glimpzed.app and we will take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
